"Yemen, one of the world’s poorest countries, is facing catastrophic famine — perhaps the worst in our lifetimes according to one of the UN’s Humanitarian Coordinators, Mark Lowcock. Our teams have been working in Yemen since late 2016 providing humanitarian aid and relief. We need your help. Donate now to help save Yemeni lives.
Penny Appeal supports medical centers by providing health care and relief to the overburdened hospitals, which lack the trained staff and supplies to treat this recent influx of wounded and sick. We’re also working with partners to assist children suffering from severe malnutrition, training healthcare workers to treat it, and providing supplies. Medical aid, along with our food packages, is saving the lives of displaced Yemenis, who through no fault of their own have become casualties of a war they did not start. We cannot do it alone. We need your help."
