Jim Corbett National Park is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas; Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand is India's oldest national park. It was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to save the endangered species of Royal Bengal Tiger and was first renamed Ramganga as Ramganga National park in 1947, at last it named as Jim corbett national park on the name of sir jim corbett who was a famous tiger hunter. And turned as a famous environmentalist and started saving the tigers.
