IIM Shillong release SIP Report for the batch 2021. Highest Stipend INR 3 lac

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong completes summer internship process (SIP) for its PGP batch 2019-21. Highest stipend offered is INR 3 Lac and average stipend offered is INR 1.31 Lac. Average stipend increased by 17% in compare to 2018-20 batches (1.12 Lac). The average stipend for the top 10% of the batch stood at INR 2.60 lac. top 20% and top 50% of the batch secured an average stipend of INR 2.36 lac and INR 1.67 lac respectively.

The PGP 2019-21 batch with 39% female candidates, 57% are fresher’s and 43% of the batch from non-engineering background, 9 CFA/CA Qualifiers. Batch size increase by 16.5% (175 to 204 Students).

Sector wise highest 33% students placed in Sales & Marketing followed by Consulting & Strategy (24%) and Finance (17%). Top Recruiters are AB InBev, Aditya Birla Group, Bajaj Finserv, Cognizant, D.E.
